Data Protection
- Under Data Protection legislation we are required to inform individuals about the information we hold on them. We keep names and contact details on a computerised database for the purposes of training course management, monitoring sector training achievements/requirements and any other purposes relevant to training and/or sector requirements. Details held are those provided by participants via their application forms.
- In consideration to environment and effective use of resources the OSCB Training Project are working towards ensuring all data is stored electronically and will no longer be supporting this information with additional hard copies of training applications/forms where possible.
- We will also be increasing the timescales for which we will be holding data due to the inspection criteria for which records can be called upon and to assist in the monitoring of initial and refresher training achievements/requirements. Data will now be stored for a minimum of 6 years to meet some sector training refreshment criteria of every 3 years.
- If you change your address or contact details please inform the project so we can ensure you receive details about any courses you are registered for and/or any future courses which you may be interested in.
